Dr. Kramer DNP, earned her Doctorate Degree as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Psychiatry, in addition she has earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling, a second Master’s Degree in Science specializing in Nursing. Her multiple degrees emanated from the University of Arizona and University of Phoenix.
Background/experience:
Dr. Loretta Rose Kramer DNP, is an experienced therapist and has many years working in the behavior health field. She is a Licensed Practicing Counselor and a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor. Loretta Kramer is well versed in a wide range of therapeutic interventions, and has over 30 years’ experience working the Tucson area. Dr. Kramer DNP: is well liked, requested, and an experienced therapist working with children, teens, adults and couples. In addition, she has a wide range of experience creating, starting, and supervising programs for adults and children in outpatient, inpatient, and crisis center settings locally and in other rural communities. She has worked as a nurse in hospital acute milieu. Loretta Kramer has worked extensively in outpatient settings providing psychiatry services for children and adults. She has experience working with adults and children with disabilities, including Autism. Loretta is experienced with a wide range of behavior health challenges, including ADHD, ADD, depression, anxiety, addictions, obsessive compulsive disorders (OCD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), substance abuse, bipolar type 1 and type 2, schizophrenia, and a multitude of other presentations.
Loretta loves the outdoors, including camping. She is a cyclist, and enjoys riding the Tucson (Loop). She is also an avid swimmer and loves the summers in Tucson. Ms. Kramer has just added pickle ball to her weekends. She is working towards agility with her Australian Sheppard and loves the company of her family and friends.
